Today it is no longer sufficient to just meet the technical standards in testing. In many parts of the world, the gambling industry is being urged to develop responsible gaming programs to minimise the impact of gambling abuse on individuals and communities. There is a clear demand from the authorities to the effect that ‘technical’ law must also translate into a social responsibility concept.
Certification responsible gaming
At NMi, we have added a special certification scheme to our package of services which enables providers to have their responsible gaming practices inspected and assessed. We are the only organisation to offer this service under accreditation. By formalising the duty of care for operators in an open standard certification, NMi take the lead and is working towards an overall accepted European guideline.
NMi is the only organisation to offer Responsible Gaming Certification under accreditation
In close cooperation with local authorities and experts in the field such as G4 (the Global Gaming Guidance Group), NMi has combined the most important international responsible gaming standards. All standards have been filtered and brought together in one transparent umbrella scheme, to be monitored and regulated by the Accreditation Board. We are proud to offer this solid and reliable control mechanism, supervised by an independent advisory board, on which both regulator and public can rely.
